Here’s something kinda scary but exciting at the same time. I say exciting because it’s the middle of the day and thinking back, I’d love to experience more. But as soon as the sun goes down, I know that’ll change.
I first noticed weirdness at my brother’s house a couple weeks ago. This was the night when Jenny and I had to go to Case Grande to get her battery from Walmart. When we got back, we learned my brother had been locked out of his house after coming back from a trip on the airlines. I ran over there with my spare key to his house. Before we unlocked the house, he told me the reason he was locked out was because he never locks the top lock of the garage door and it was locked solid. He ruled out that his wife could have done it and so I got my gun and ensured the house was in fact vacant. All other locks in the house were secure. And nothing was touched. Weird.
Then, the other night I’m going over to water his gecko and at this point they were on a trip to Kansas and had been gone for a couple days. His garage door was wide open!!? I told him about it and he was pissed! He said it had happened before and I offered a solution that someone in the area had the same frequency. But even that explanation doesn’t make sense because every night since the garage door has been closed. Again, weird.
Then last night it happened. Now I must preface this by saying that I always feel weird in there like someone is watching me. But, it’s a new house and I have a great imagination. So I push it out of my mind, I feed the gecko and water him and leave. I’m at the top of the stairs at this point going down, I accidentally turn off all the lights. So I quickly turn the upstairs hallway light on, giving me just enough light to get downstairs and out side. Now I’m downstairs and I open the door allowing outside light in, just enough to let me see in the pitch dark house after I flip the light switch off to the upstairs hallway. I ensured the entire houses’ lights were OFF.
I get in my truck, fire it up, and pull out. After exiting the driveway I look up and that damn light was back on! I was freaking out. I parked the truck in the middle of the road, got out and peered through the window. There aren’t blinds yet so I can clearly see in the upstairs window into the hallway. It was the hallway light for sure. At first I thought that I had left a light on somewhere else, or maybe one was just left on in another room… but no. Even when I arrived the house was pitch black. That sucker was OFF. So what turned it on?
I kinda wanna go back tonight and see if I can get into another adventure even though it’s small… it’s kind of a rush.

We go back last night, another light was on, and the backdoor was unlocked. I asked Zach if anyone who had a key as entering the home. No one.
I even found his keys and garage door still inside the house/garage. Who or what is doing this? Before we left I told “the ghost” these lights are to stay off in a stern voice. When we went back that night, all lights were off. I guessed “it” listened.
Sounds like that story about the guy who had someone living in one of his closets and didn’t know it. Whenever he left the house, she would come out and eat food etc. She was there for months before he found her..hah.
Actually we knew of a story where two lesbian lovers parted, but it wasn’t over for one of them. She continued to live under the floor boards of the house, a crawl space and had drilled holes to watch the other lady sleep, shower, eat ... everything. She was obsessed. Thank god there are no crawl spaces out here in arizona houses. I wouldn’t be going under them!!
Oh the stories I could tell. This sounds a lot like the problems my brother had with his house. He eventually had to move out it got so bad. I went once before I knew about the “issues” and there were two bedrooms I wouldn’t stay in. Way too oppressive. If he wants to clear things out, sage and a confident spirit will help. Oh, and lots of research. I wish him good luck.
So, this is why you people need to get a concealed weapons permit. I would be FREAKING out
Actually I carry one in my truck, but you are allowed to carry a sidearm out here. Obviously you can’t go into some places with it like the post office, but you can walk around normally with it no questions asked.
As far as concealed. I think they are more lenient out here. In CA you pretty much have to have a need to do so by your profession before they’ll allow it.
However, I always carry on on my in my car because of the road rage out here. Of course the M-4 stays by the bed in case of a burglary at our house.
Some might laugh at that but hey… You’ll never call me a victim.
