Batteries, Walmart, and how to ruin an evening at home.

Wow! A warranty paid off for me! While starting my car to go to work yesterday, it seemed to take a little long to start. I kinda shrugged it off and forgot about it until when I went to leave from work and it didn’t start. Luckily, it started after the second try and I made it home fine. I talked to my dad and he thought most likely the battery. I had just replaced it less than 2 yrs ago and was certain I had bought one with a good warranty. I had the receipt at home and the battery said 3 yr free replacement. So, we were able to start the car again and drove out to Casa Grande. After a minor mishap of incompetent Walmart employees, we got the battery replaced for free even though the automotive center was closed. We felt like mechanics replacing the battery smile Yay! I saved like $65!! Damn thing only lasted 18 months. I’m glad I spent the extra 10 bucks to get a better warranty!
