I was the Tempe Court House

When I got my new phone, I got a new number to make it official that I was an Arizonan.  Well, what came with that was a ton of calls from people wanting the Tempe Court house.  My number is exactly the same, but the Tempe Court House is area code 480… some people dial my number thinking it’s 602.  So I called Verizon today and had them change my number.  In case you don’t get a text message from me, my new number is 602-510-4929.

New Years Predictions for 2009

Happy New Years everyone.  Leave a comment to this post on your single best prediction for 2009.  Maybe you had a precognitive or reoccurring dream, a vision, or maybe you follow the news closely.  What do you think 2009 has in store for us, does it get better, or are we seeing the beginning of the worst times that lay ahead?

Based on my remote viewing, I believe that 2009 will be our final year of peace before the sh*t hits the fan. Following 2009 we will be in for a rough ride which will include, complete global economic breakdown, the bird flu will kill many, and a pole shift will occur between 2010-2015.  Now that’s a ways out and isn’t a prediction for 2009 but I had to mention this so you would understand when I say my best single prediction for 2009 is a time of “the calm before the storm.“  which sucks because 2008 was no vacation and I do believe that 2009 will be worse but a time of peace compared to what lies beyond.  Just a side note: I predict we have a baby girl too.  This is based on a dream I had quite a while ago.

I may amend this post not sure yet.  I have yet to run a session on Obama’s inauguration.  My remote viewing sessions with others show a white president.  I’m curious about this still considering he still hasn’t taken office.

I rarely blog…

So I figured I should write about something. We have been quite busy for a while. I have been working an extra day a week to get some money into savings and let me tell you, work 4 12’s instead of 3 is a world of difference. I felt like I had no free time!! This week I’m just working 3 days, I figured my poor body needs a rest.

I’m at 16 weeks and 2 days pregnant today! It seems to be going by quite fast. So far, I have been quite lucky and have had a rather uneventful pregnancy. Aside from the occasional, okay frequent, zits I can’t complain at all. I only puked one time during the morning sickness stage of pregnancy. I did have a bit of nausea, but nothing eating some food didn’t cure. That is easier said than done, by the way. When you are feeling sick to your stomach, it’s very hard to convince yourself that actually eating food will make you feel better.

Anyways, we go in for our next doctor’s appointment on the 8th of January. If I am unable to change Jeramiah’s mind in the meantime, we will be finding out the sex of baby during an ultrasound a week or so after that. Hopefully everything looks great with the baby and he/she is not being shy with showing the goods!! I’d love the sex of the baby to be a surprise, but on the other hand it would be nice know so we can prepare. I"m also pretty sure over the last week or so that I have been feeling the baby move! Somehow it still doesn’t feel like this whole baby thing is really happening.

The only other exciting thing that is going is that we are about to get some curbing placed around the grass we grew in the backyard. I yard will be one step closer to complete. It looks very good. Happy New Year everyone!!!

Home Networking

Completing my home network

I would like to say that today completes my induction as an honorary SA.  Charles you would be proud of me.  Today I purchased a patch panel because we have Ethernet cables running to every room in the house.  It’s pretty bad ass that our house is fitted with Ethernet cabling so you can have VoIP or just use like what I’m doing as data for internet.  There’s like 10 cables in all but this patch panel only holds 6 so I had to decide which ones to put on it.  I basically popped the cables out of the prongs in the telecom panel and re-stripped and punched them again in my new patch panel.  Because I couldn’t read the guy’s writing who labeled them I basically took my laptop to each room and tested which one was live.  The purpose of doing this today was because when I fix people’s computers and their computer doesn’t have a wireless card on it, I don’t have a cable long enough to reach from the router in the utility room to the office.  So for the same cost as a cable I got this and now our entire house has internet hardwired.  This will help when I want to connect our media portal downstairs to the LAN and stream movies from the NAS upstairs.

These rooms have wired internet:

  • Casita
  • Baby Room
  • Theater
  • Office
  • Loft
  • Workout Room

My birthday card

I got a card for my birthday from my company.  I really like how they do that. Usually they get a cake but no one was here anyway due to the holidays.  But it’s nice how everyone signs it.  The other day my coworkers invited me out and Nick a good friend at work paid for my meal.  We all went out and had a great time.  Then they surprised me with the restaurant (My Big Fat Greek Restaurant) came out clapping with a tiny pastry with a candle.  I knew I only had once chance to make this good.  So I concentrated.  How did I want to formulate this wish?.... as if I were formulating a cue in remote viewing,  I spent time thinking and then it came time to blow out the candle.  My wish was to stay home the next day without anyone noticing.  I took the candle and put it on my desk…. as if to complete the wish and seal it.

Wouldn’t you know it, the next day I stayed home!!!  Well probably not a big surprise for those of you who know me.  But I got in today and here was the card on my desk.  So I opened the card and saw this pretty large area where no one had written.  I saw an opportunity here.  I wanted to write my own message—a simple message came to mind, short and sweet.  Below are the events that followed as I wrote…. yes… wrote in my own birthday card.
